So far I've read to in what I can only hope is a long standing series and both have not failed to keep me reading till completion. Certainly a pleasant way to spend a few moments of your day. Having read the previous two, I've got to say, I'm loving the world the author creates. This is another great addition. Of course, I wish there was more content! But I understand it's in installments. Great read!
I recieved a free copy for review and I'm very thankful I did! In this book, we read about the arena warrior Mel who was in Jeff Sproul's other book in Blacksalt Slayer. As the series goes on, i'm excited to see how the characters weave in and out of each other's lives.Sproul's writing always keeps me interested in the characters. The fught scenes are exciting to keep up with too.
I've been following this series from 'Blacksalt Slayer' and each novelia that follows has left me waiting for the next installment.
In 'Killing pawns' the character Mel that we were introduced to in the first installment takes us through her experience of life as a Arena star. While you do not need to have Read Blacksalt Slayer i do recommend it as it has her introduction and subtle references.
Great book, great read and cant wait for what comes next
After reading Blacksalt Slayer (A LitRPG Standalone) (The Permadeath Legacy Book 1) I was excited to see how the series would work as standalone stories. Thankfully, I was not let down. The author has created an immersive world that is perfect for the new LitRPG genre. Can't wait for the next entry!
